Nervous as hell, decided to have a few cans before work to calm me down a bit. Hopefully I'll stink of booze and my boss will send me home again.

only good part about having to wait til 10.05 pm for kick off is the fact that my work day is nearly over so I can get some calming beers down me.

Although....I best be careful as almost came to blows with a Villa fan who was gloating as Everton beat us the other day. If anyone pulls that (if the worst should happen tonight) I think I will definitely succumb to the temptation to unleash ultraviolence

I should finish work at 8.30 (7.30 manc time) so that passes the time a bit quicker and I've got just enough time to head down the pub and get there in time for kick-off.

My 3 month old son is going to experience his first derby today. His new kit arrived a week ago, just in time. My 2 year old daughter already stands in front of the tv shouting "come on citeh!!!!" it is brilliant.

On another note one of my brothers mates from Coventry who is a die hard rag and has been since he was a kid, has already got a hotel booked for the night of the final. He made it after they won the 1/4 final, before the draw was made. Said I can have to room if we beat them. He might as well give me the details now then. I would just have to get to the UK and get a match ticket for the final. The airline ticket is the easy part......

Come on City!!

i think i read somewhere he'll put in "some" kids. by kids i'm assuming he means fletcher, rio and berbaflop.

i can't see him risking a beating given the fact this is probably the last trophy united can win this season, with imo the prem going to chelski and the champs league probably to barca or real or inter.

i fully expect a strong squad tonight.

I don't want to see any holding back fron Carlos tonight, and I want to see a full-on 'Spank the Donkey' celebration in front of the SS, none of this fucking 'Respect' shit! They didn't show him any respect in the last game did they?!?

I know. The banter is non existent today isnt it? Both sides are full of nerves. Far too full of nerves to be cocky. Let battle commence...!
