I'm also interested to see how the media portray flopp. Glad Soton won and I'll give them a chance in the final. If they took chances today they'd have won by 4-5.
Ps sign Bertrand up.

I remember I saw just one replay of the penalty at Sterling.
it was so fucking obvious that no one doubted that it was a pen on raheem though
needed several looks for origi. didn't think it was a pk on first watching but after the replays i'd be pissed off it it hadn't been given for us. who cares though??
Never a penalty. Would have been an absolute travesty if they'd got it to extra time with that.

What a great result. Genuinely pleased Soton are in the final and glad it's not going to be the World Cup final the media were waiting to hype up. Just as the bus as warming up.......

Unsurprisingly, Carragher defending him to the hilt. Let the media fawn all over him whilst we go about our business

Nice to see car rather scowling and Le Tissier beaming. Don't write Southampton off, that was a very good performance and they battered Leicester at the weekend. Shame the final isn't this weekend

Yes, I can see them turning Hull over as well. They are a good side Saints and a repeat of 76 would be great.

oh well fucking done
watch them go on and win now.
As I was saying...
1 win in 7 after beating us.
Similar thing happened to Spurs earlier in the season. After beating us they failed to win in their next 7, crashing out of the CL in the process.
It's as if the gargantuan effort they both put in to beat us fucked them in terms of recuperation which killed their momentum.

This could be a revolutionary new strategy for Pep.
Lose to all the top teams, in order to jigger up their seasons.............

Bit disappointed that I'm not seeing the Klopp struggling, under pressure, moaning at the ref etc headlines today.
Something tells me that if we lost at home at the hands of Soton we would have been slaughtered.
