Oviedo and Gibson.

Sky Sports stooping to another low comparing made up stats for new signings. Gabbiandini shooting from outside of the box is 17 out of 20 apparently which top trumps Shane Long's 9.

Oh and I fucking hate deadline day. Trying to make news out of nothing signings and 'sky sports sources' (aka big Dave from your local)

I haven't seen him many times but he was a confident tackler - who looked to have a good future as a defensive midfielder (or central midfielder). He always put in decent performances on the few occasions I did see him play.

Confident tackler! Hmm not sure about that. Not saying he couldnt tackle as he liked to get stuck in but occasionally it was Scholes like tackles which got him into trouble. I just think he is a good midfield player with a range of passing and with a good eye for a goal with shots from 20/25 yards. Should do well at Wigan

No doubt we paid for everything down to the 20p he had to pay in Piccadilly station to take a dump.

£10 million?!!!!! Madness!
Considering West Ham are potentially spending up to £15m on a lad from Brentford and Everton spent £11m on Lookman, I don't think £10m for a guy who got nineteen championship goals for them whilst on loan isn't a bad deal
I know it was a few years ago but Kompany was about £6 million and Zaba £8 million.
Striker wise I know he was in his last year but we got £12 million for Tevez. £12 million!!!
Yeah but that was before we distorted the market

On Tevez, we saved ourselves £10m in wages too plus whatever his loyalty bonus was.

I'd pay Tevez's loyalty bonus myself right now to see him in a City shirt. What a player!

As brilliant as he is Mase I'm not sure he'd fit Pep, too maverick.
Oh and you're probably talking millions when it comes to loyalty bonus, if you've got that going spare any chance of a lend?

First game I saw him play he was the standout player in a holding role - the ball stuck to his feet every time he made a challenge. Like I said, he was only on TV (or the net) a handful of times but he was an eye catcher whenever I saw him. I'm assuming his development stalled or we wouldn't be getting rid.

Like jack a lot. But I saw a lot of Joey Barton in him, he will make a good living st the game if he sorts his temperament out.
