I had to listen to the first half on the radio as I was putting my little lad down. I thought Jonathan Pearce and Chris Sutton were a brilliant pairing on commentary. A couple of bona fide strange cunts but they get into the game, bringing to life what's going on rather than indulging in shitty snide remarks and cliches to fill moments of silence. Such an upgrade on Lawrenson and Savage.

Didn't like them as players for us or otherwise, so they've always been no-marks in my house. But Quinn turning on us is like finding your missus is shagging your neighbour

Quinn played over 200 games for us, the other 2 were mercenaries - this makes it even harder to accept

Whatever Bournemouth did drew a positive response from him. If their goalkeeper makes a save from a great move by us well done him. If Willy makes a great save from a move by them it's well done them. Utter disgrace and should be taken out of this hall of fame shit, which is shit in-itself.

sheblue is spot on.
Quinn is a politician, a populist, the nice guy.
That means he would sell his granny for whatever he wants.
He has sold us to get his gig on TV, he is that type of cunt.
A hollow human being.

I've drunk a lot of red wine whilst watching the game on record late on, but I didn't hear too much wrong. I stand to be corrected but he still has a place in my Blue heart.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

I drank a lot of red wine too, but he was an absolute cunt.
You must let me know what type you were drinking!

I had the choice of watching it on NBCSN or Sky Sports last night so I opted for NBCSN. I was absolutely horrified that the pair commentating were Martin Tyler and Danny Higginbotham and expected it to be a Stretford tribute but I was pleasantly surprised as Higginbotham was almost effusive in his praise of us and Tyler wasn't nearly as red-tinted as he is on Sky Sports.
At least I didn't have to listen to that Judas last night.

I watched it in Spnish in HD and have to say their commentary was ten times better than Sky or any of the English channels.
I didn't understand a word of it though.

I cant be doing with him, I cannot believe its the same player that played for us however maybe his attitude is connected to the times in which he played for us, I remember reading Lakey's book and this story is in it "Despite Lake being alone in America, the club refused to pay for his girlfriend to fly out to LA to be with him during his recovery from surgery, and so Niall Quinn and Peter Reid organized a whip-round to pay for her flight tickets. The lack of leg room on the economy flight back to the UK also damaged his knee, though the club had flown the fully fit club physio back to England in business class.
No excuse for his current attitude to us however, its not unusual, listen to Owen, you'd have thought he spent his career at the swamp, and who would think that Rat boy junior only played 21 league games less when he was at Everton.
Some people bear grudges for years
