After a lot of soul searching, I feel I need to come out and admit I prefer Willy.

Remember when we'd all panic when his name appeared and now he's the safe pair of hands.

Hopefully this benching of Bravo works and he comes back as the keeper we bought.

Chuffed for Willy, it should serve as a lesson to us in writing players off too early although that's probably wishful thinking.

He's over thirty and has had two seasons here before this one. I had written him off and I would definitely not call it too early after two seasons. His form was uneven and brilliant games would be mixed with howlers. If he now moves on and performs well for the rest of the season I think most people will be chuffed they did not (except Carl, probably, I mean I donät know Carl but you have a history, you have to admit) write him off early.

I wouldn't deny that Carl. what I would say in defence of Willy's time with us is, that he has never raised any bother about being no.2 in ranking.
He took his odd game and performed well in the league cups. He played his part in us winning the cup final against Liverpool. We'll always be grateful.

He has sat out league games this year watching Bravo play shite. He has never had a run of games to get his confidence, but maybe now he will.
Because as you point out. He is the lesser of two evils.

I thought he showed a big improvement in his passing and dealing with a lot of play around our box.
West Ham didn't press high, which helped, but I think the added speed to our attack is going to make a lot of teams think twice about
pressing too high. They are now all vulnerable to a ball over the top, or one defence splitting pass to the space in behind.

There is no doubt the likes of Stones looked far more comfortable with Willy behind him. As others have said, he was very vocal.

I hope Willy keeps his place and goes from strength to strength.

Willy did way more than play his part to win the cup - he was the star of the show!

And while I still firmly believe that Joe should be in goal, Willy is a huge step up at the moment. The comfort that he gives the defense cannot be understated. Plus he can actually save the ball. No brainer really.

I have been a stern critic of Bravo's, from very early on.
But O accept the argument that you don't play for Barca and make a mark in international football if you are that bad. Maybe he is being taken out of the firing line in time for him to rebuild his confidence. Even so, with every passing game, the case for Willy is being made.

I don't think it could have helped him to step off the plane straight into the swamp with poor or no English.

Keep watching from the bench Bravo....and maybe you can learn something from Willy..i.e how to save a shot...any shot.....or catch a ball.

Very simple neither, Joe Hart is better than the two of them put together, if only Pep would admit he made a mistake with this one.

He has not done much wrong when given the chance. Tonight he has been secure again when they tried to apply pressure. I thought the goal against Swansea was a bit soft, he went down in instalments, but Bravo would certainly have done no better.
Willy stays for now.

Really? I thought it was an excellent, powerful, low shot that was just about unstoppable. I wouldn't castigate any keeper for letting that in. The defenders not closing him down is another story.

Willy has been strong and safe so far and spraying it around nicely. More of the same will do for me.

This is the best run of games we've seen from cabby in city. It's not only that he's better than Bravo atm but also that he's outdoing himself.

I've no complaints. The way he closed down Ibe was brilliant. He was confident and quick off the mark. Hesitate and stay on the line and that's a clear goal.
