Sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't see it anywhere (and don't want to read through 25 pages of the match thread)

I was at the match so only saw the incident once and thought it was a pen but there were plenty of people on the radio saying it wasn't. So, just between us blues, was it a penner?

I was sat pretty level to the incident - though in the west stand opposite.

Bellamy's pace brought him down after Rafael tugged first at his shirt and then on his arm.

To be fair I thought it was a lucky penalty too, inasmuch as many refs wouldn't have given it.

Having said that, it could be argued that Mike Dean gave Bellamy the benefit of the advantage law after the shirt pull but then awarded a foul for the second offence - the same thing happened on Saturday when Micah committed two offences against Everton. One outside the box followed immediately by another inside the box.

Would I have given a penalty tonight though?

looked to me like the arms slapped together and it didnt alter bellamys movement at all. It looks worse in real time so I agree with MIKE "CITY FAN" DEAN
