Flicked SSN on at 3pm today. The lead story? All about how Pogba has got the best stats for the rags this seaon. And as the rags are the bestest club ever, managed by the bestest manager ever, then that proves Pogba is a great player and well worth the money.
It's surprising how many neutrals actually fall for this shit as well. You have a conversation with a non rag and they will often come out with some stat they have seen on Sky and quote it as gospel.

Just saying it to my mate there.
They really don't try to hide it at all anymore
They can't afford to. They have direct major interest in the rags and they can't have them out of the picture just because their football team is mediocre.
They have to keep the lead story.
Tribute to pogba this week because we are about to play monaco
Tribute to zlatan last week to cover up our fa cup win
Tribute rooney the last week we first played monaco.

And rightly so. I love Fern, but he does not have the composure or first touch for that role. I hope that Silva and KdB will drop deep to collect the ball from the central defenders, because if Fern's the one to do that, we will be punished.

Don't agree , Fern is faster and can track back faster than YAYA (who rarely tracks back)..Monaco are electric on the break.

Yes, he's better defensively, but he's not even close when it comes to build-up play and helping the defenders out when they are put under pressure. He's simply not that good when receiving the ball facing his own goal, and i think that will show if they press us high. We will look very nervous.
