Looks class and a level above any defender in the league let alone our squad.

Our best defender by a mile , Stones will benefit with Komps presence aswell .

Always thought that was the idea in buying Stones but the partnership never got a chance and I'm still sceptical that it will.
I think every time Vinny has been put in, it's like he knows Pep is giving him every chance to mess up.
Usually a high pressure game like now and it's a case of prove me wrong rather prove yourself.
Just the impression I get anyway.

His fault they scored JC....didn't get his head to it and seemed to close his eyes.
Hes played quite well since.

Of course it's so easy to do from point blank. Why didn't he chest it down and play it out in the 0.03 sec that he had?
His fault! Burn him at the stake.

Not having that. The goal was Willy's fault

Not having that either. Again, the reaction time required to adjust to the deflection was too sharp. Even then, he almost got enough on it to force it wide.

Fernandinho switching off and strolling on edge of box was the biggest fault with the first goal. Not enough effort to get back and cover danger. Yes Kompany will be disappointed he didn't get his head to it better and knock it away, willy disappointed he didn't get stronger hand to push it clear but if Fernandinho does midfielder job and drops back in Hazard doesn't have that space to get shot away in first place

I think we now have the correct analysis, except that Delph didn't do his job either and Clichy should have been around there somewhere - a team effort really. I blame Pep.

This season has marked Zlatan, Benteke and Costa, all did fuck all. Great player and again showed he is a player we have missed badly.

His gigantic head cost us Chelsea's first goal and Stones' potential equaliser. Unlucky!
