And so will the referee. That was a terrible decision that led to the Rags first goal.

well yeah. but United have been poor so often the season that many might've assumed we'd be clear favorites

Chelsea have got very lucky with injuries and suspensions this season and it shows. Two injuries and they are all over the place. Truly shocking today. United fans will now be extra giddy going into the derby...

rags have 68% possession - more to do with all the bad passing ( chelsea are worse at the moment) than any creativity.

As odd as it may seem i like this win will actually benefit us. It cuts the gap between Spurs and Chelsea to a manageable one. And United have to go to WHL; Spurs will have even more incentive to not lose that one. So even if we drop points in the detby I think Spurs will do us a favor

Rags tactics will be to kick lumps out of Silva, Kun and Sterling with impunity.

Pretty much as I feared, if it comes down to them or us for top four, they will be shoehorned in at our expense.

The ref will be centre stage and will take the limelight. You can see him being MOTM for them.

Also:

Eden Hazard and Pedro in the first half vs. Man Utd:

0 crosses completed
0 take-ons completed
0 chances created
0 shots

Be curious to see if Jose employs a man-marking tactic vs Silva in the derby

Aren't the Rags and Chavs in the CL this season ? and doesn't Lionel rashford play for the Barca of the north ?

Doh the irony.

The Rags Sky/FA agenda implemented by the Ref is my worry also.
What % of Rag goals are legal? First one today was a clear handball.
Will we be allowed to keep 11 on the field? Thinking Sunderland last week.
Will they get yellows for the kickings and elbows they dish out?

I hope Vinny is available (no lunges please, ref will be primed), he will make a huge difference.
We are at home.

But the ref...that is the worry.

I see you're reasoning. You've got the hang of this justified logic. Well done.

I missed most of the day and most of the day's games but did catch Rojo elbowing Costa in the snatch of radio commentary I heard and which was excused as a natural position as he was going in for the tackle (with his elbow?) So, how many yellows and reds did United, and Liverpool for that matter, avoid this time?

you mean the elbow or the punch when both were lying on the floor. Both of whom should have been carded .

again another useless ref . Madley is another very bad ref .

Absolutely Shocking (or biased?) decisions at the Bernabeu tonight.

Watch the highlights and decide...

While I wanted Bayern through obviously, Vidal could've been sent off long before he was. Sadly he was sent off for the wrong incident, and Tranny was defo offside for his first. Didn't see the replay for his 2nd, so can't call it.

Tonight will be very interesting to see. On their own, Barcelona are not capable on going through, if they get another boost, they are pushing for a final between those two corrupt spanish teams.

I have never seen Bayern get two players sent off in two consecutive games at this level. When the hell that ever happend?

Shocking yes, biased no. Two offside goals for Madrid, one offside goal and one non-penalty for Bayern. Sending Vidal off for his only clean tackle in the entire game is a bit karmic, if nothing else.

Bayern were woeful, we would've pummelled them on this showing.

I don't even have to draw another line as the ball is right on top of it.
