I don't think he'll win it, but I do think he deserves a mention. He'd be certainly in my top 5 at minimum.
Got to go Silva personally. Aguero is close as well with all them goals, but the deciding factor is I think we have someone who can do a reasonable job for aguero now when he's not playing, silva is still irreplaceable in our side. He's magic on a regular basis.
Lastly if either played more yaya and kompany would again be in the running. Both have at times been our saving grace in their respective parts of the pitch. Both improved us instantly when they came back and both have something most of our newer players haven't shown yet, the ability to control a game. Between those two and silva we are really going to struggle to rebuild these areas if we continue to recruit the way we have in recent years. We've bought a few good players (hard not to when you spend like a top club) but since mancini left we've not managed to buy another player who dictates a game. Pep has had a few over the years so I'm hopeful he gets us one or two.
