Regarding the double tap penalty, I remember Peter Reid falling foul of this rule a number of years ago in a Match away at Leeds. His shot hit the post and he put away the rebound without another player touching the ball. Effectively he had two touches and the goal was disallowed

I did not go to that game in Leeds- last time I was there was in September 1988! Andy Dibble was in goal for City .It was a one all draw McNnab scoring for City with a penalty! Both Lake and Hinchcliffe were playing.
