He was listed as a Bayern player when Chile released their official squad list for Confederations Cup.

I think he will end up at City but it wont be straight forward, arsenal will at least have to make it look like they played hardball for there fans sake...probably go through on deadline day.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the same way SB.

For all the positives about him, he just didn't seem to feel 'right' for us. Can't explain or define why, but it was there nonetheless.

I wonder what fee Bayern are paying for him ??

This.

I would not put him in front of Jesus, Sane or even Raheem. Not to mention in front of King Aguero

All this. Would only hamper the development of our youth. Also if lexi came I think it would signal the end of patty roberts who I would like see given an opportunity.

Gobsmacked that there's so many that wouldn't have Alexis. Can see Dwaring's point but I think if a player like that becomes available and you have the resources to get him you get him.

I am sure we can find a better use for 58 million Euro than Alexis Sanchez. Like two full-backs, for example.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

It's not an either/or situation though. Somewhere between 2-4 fullbacks are guaranteed. Likely 3, unless someone can be promoted or one of the loanees are ready. And I am guessing neither of those latter two options are likely.

It appears to me they feel the need to bring in a forward who can play anywhere across the front. Navas and Nolito were not good enough and need to be replaced. I am hopeful Patrick Roberts is able to take one of those spots. But that leaves one forward spot to still be filled. Bringing in someone who is a better finisher than Sterling is a must. Sterling played well this season and I look forward to watching him grow as a player but he should be in a rotation.

I have not watched Celtic this season so I only know a little about Roberts. I have seen reports of his skill with the ball, trickery, ability to beat a man one on one, etc... What is his pace like? I have not heard any mention of his pace and I believe you can have all the skill in the world but if you are not fast enough he won't play on the wing in his system.

Pep wants him he will get him, what he brings, we lost when Tevez left. Fight, desire and I am not having this attitude. Better footballer than Raheem and Sergio, but I am never ever ever saying Sergio can make way, FUCK THAT !

For 58 million, I'd much rather we get someone who is a few years younger. At 28, we can expect to get ~3 top seasons out of him before his decline. While we have a crop of young stars, we still have one of the oldest average ages in the league with key players like Silva, Aguero, and Yaya all getting football old.

Mbappe, Benardo Silva, or similar would be miles better. Maybe just raid all the good talent from Monaco (a la the scouse dipping into Southampton's bin). But spending mega bucks on the defence would obviously be light years better (if we have to limit our big signings).

Having said that, he's an incredible player that never stops picking at defenders. So even if we do sign him, I'd be overjoyed

Signing Alexis would mean Sane would be on the bench. Some would say that's fine since Sanchez is obvioulsy a better player. Some would say Alexis is 28 and we need Sane to play alot to keep developing and pushing our youth to the bench sends a bad signal to youth debating joining.
