Does the Chairman in his end of season interview, mislead us on transfers. He is cool, calculated, yet the signings he hints at, where we need strength and he refers to it directly do not seem as straight forward as he makes them out to be. This is a very important window but but still we still haven't sorted our most serious deficiencies apart from possibly the keeper (hopefully, jury is out there).
Yes concerned about the lack of defenders were being linked with. So far its just Alves, Walker, Mendy and Bertrand. Are they good enough or even enough to bridge the gap from 3rd to 1st, which is what we all want.Its a big gap, we were well off the pace defensively last season.
Holidays or whatever excuses we really do need to get on with it, and quickly too.
