If I was in their situation I would do the same thing as they are losing most of their best players this summer.

Bit of a perfect storm in that Clichy, Sagna, Zaba and kolarov all came home to roost as it were at the same time. If we'd signed anyone else last year they wouldn't have got a game - catch 22 like having to pay the price to get players.

Also there may have beena hope Angelino would come through - which he clearly is not going to.
