Absolutely.

Moreover, when a particular referee is allocated to any of our games and we have had 'issues' with said official in the past, we should publicly announce in advance, that we strongly object to him handling our game, because of what had transpired previously and, if we are forced to accept him, then every decision he makes will be closely monitored and, in the event of any 'controversial' decisions, these would be taken up with his porcine paymasters at PiGMOB headquarters and also with the FA.

We'll obviously get the book thrown at us for this but, if we continue to do it consistently, referees might just start to be a little more reluctant to follow orders because of the limelight that would be cast upon them.

That's the theory anyway.

Who's going to publish our announcement if all the media is banned? :-)

The relationship between the club and the media should be symbiotic, however, for us it feels like we're the host animal and they are parasite..

Funny how you remember things. My biology teacher said to us in 1975 or 76, remember this phrase - 'symbiotic bacteria living in the root nodules of leguminous plants'. So i did.

Never came up, no use at all, but at least I still remember it!

It's not surprising but I'll mention it anyway. Over an hour ago SSN's Sky Italia correspondent ruled out Bony to Hellas Verona and Mangala to Inter on air - this information has passed through the subsequent coverage without further comment.

Also, yesterday SSN put out an interview with Trippier strongly implying he was in the frame to start the WCQs in place of Walker. Today it turns out that he has not trained at all with the England squad over the past three days and has now returned to hIs club for further treatment on a persistent ligament injury.

So the real story is City haven't hardly budged from what seems a done deal for a while for Sanchez (£50 mill ) but Arsenal and Wegner have floundered trying to get a replacement and end up paying way over the odds for Lemar . Not too difficult to work out ...........

Oh the anti city media agenda had to take precident with alsorts of made up bullshit .
Not really here

They're delighted that they've missed out on £60m for a disaffected player who they will lose for nothing in 9 months time and who's teammates according to an Arsenal brief today want him out?

Pull the other one.

They are delighted that they now have a scapegoat when they miss out on their coveted fourth place cup.

Brilliant though that would be, it is really unlikely. If he was going he would've gone at the end of last season.

I honestly don't think the Arsenal board are duly concerned about matters on the pitch first and foremost

I think that depends on what the Arsenal board see as to what's in their best financial interest, if they believe they'll lose money by retaining him then he'll be gone.

The genial host of the Sunday Suppository no less. As twisted a City hater as you can get, he was nurtured in the nest of rag vipers at the Daily Fail but actually is a shameless apologist for Crystal Palace. When they said he had a break from TV because of disfigurement by Bell's Palsy I thought King Colin might have smacked him one.

A smarmy, disingenuous liar with a pre determined agenda of hate & belittlement of City.

Looked better when he had Bells.

Needs accosting & smacking when he's crossing the car park to enjoy our complimentary pre match food.

That would give him summat to chew on.

Incompetent turd.

Another editor calls... Ducker's hate expunged...

Today's DT:

Arsenal argued that City's late move for Lemar, whom they had tried and failed to sign for around half yesterday's eye-watering offer earlier in the summer, left them with little time to complete a deal after leaving their move for Sanchez so late.

 WTF? :?

Article as currently on the DT website:

Arsenal argued that Lemar, whom they had tried and failed to sign for around half Thursday's eye-watering offer earlier in the summer, left them with little time to complete a deal.
