If the work permit had been resolved in time I think Zinchenko would be on the list instead of Muric - unless they are planning to move him in January and didn't want him cup-tied - just an idle speculation though since he would be, as you say, very unlikely to turn out. Makes you wonder what would have happened if we'd signed a proper left back who was foreign trained.
