Robinho to Santos on loan seems nailed on

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

He hasn't hit any kind of form this season but he will always be remembered as the marquee signing who got the City revolution started.

He had a really good first season and just his presence alone made everyone in the world take us seriously. He probably opened lots of doors to potential players who saw that a big name was already commited to the cause.

Taking that into account I odn't understand how people can call him a bad signing.

how can you guys be disappointed in the club if he goes? hasn't he proven he's not going to give us jack shit on the pitch? i'm sure he's no joy in the dressing room either. Let him fuck off to Santos, play well, win a WC and then see what happens in July. seems like smart business to me actually because he's worth fuckall right now.

that said, we need a fuclin striker badly. Cook and Marwood need to sort it quickly.

HE WASNT A BAD SIGNING, HE WAS A GREAT SIGNING.
HE HAS PERFORMED BADLY THIS SEASON.....I THINK INJURIES AND LACK OF CONFIDENCE HAS FUCKED HIM UP THIS SEASON.
I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP HIM ON THOUGH AS TALENT LIKE THAT JUST DOES NOT DISSAPEAR FOREVER.

I don't think anyone can blame the club or the management over robbie.

He just hasn't been bothered with us this season.

He has let us all down.

considering what he did (at home) for us at first he's been a huuuge let down this season and im dissapointed in his attitude, i've stuck up for him on here and with mates all season because he is a city player but if he goes he is a lazy twatting girl and good ridence, if you cant perform for 160,000 a week you'll always be fucking average you googley eyed twat, if he stays i retract the last bit.

Crying little pussy. It's a world cup year blahblah. If you actually turned up and performed, Mancini could guarantee you more games you thick knobhead

"The coach was very sincere with me and said that I would play every other match," Robinho told Radio Bandeirantes.

Because you're incapable of playing away from home. Fair play to Mancini.

Gutted it didn't work out but if his attitude is that he would rather go and play in Brazil than one of the best leagues in the world then quite clearly his heart isn't in it.

I seem to remember reading something a few years back about how there have been a few top brasilians who go back to play in Brasil an it seemed to work.

Anyone have a clue what im talkin about?

Im struggling with his name but that mad bloke that was at Inter - Adrianho maybe?

The fat Ronaldo went back but I wouldnt call it a return of form. He's just playing in a lower standard of league.

The only ones who I can think of who have made it in Europe in the last 15 years are

Ronaldo
Romario
Roberto Carlos
Julio Baptista
Maicon
Julius Cesar
Cafu
Juninho (Boro)
Juninho (Lyon)

90% of them flop in England and alot of them lose there head over here, Denilson, Adriano.

Ronaldinho, Dani Alves, Juan, Lucio, Rivaldo, Geovanni (not the spuds one the forward) not too mention about 100 more.

If he's going would rather it be a permanant sale and recoup some cash. It's not like he's going to come back is it?, the papers will rip us to shreds over a loan deal of the record british transfer fee.

On todays performance I couldn't give a fuck,
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Don't think it was the 'haters' as you put it, don't think there are 'haters' of him, he cost 32 million and apart from 15 goals last season and the occasional flash move what has he done to prove himself worthy of the shirt. The chap looks half arsed all the time.

Also go back to the day we signed him and I don't think you will find ONE poester who didn't want him here or were creaming themselves over him coming.

Just had Sylvinho on, abd he seems to think it's up to Robbie, not the club?

I for one remember that day and the season after. If you two feel a little hurt by the Hater comment well you might want to wonder why. But im referring to the media who have been wanting to right "Robby the failure" across the front pages. Robby is not playing his confident slick football at the moment but nor is Ireland should we kick him to the curb too. IMHO if Robby moves it will hurt us rather than help
