Mancio says 'I Think So', to the 'Is Robbie staying' question.

For what it's worth, Mancini has just been interviewed by ITV and, when pushed, said that Robbie would stay - although he did look to someone off-camera before answering, as if seeking advice. Interesting.

I think that was for translation. Didn't understand the question at first.

I think Bobby knew EXACTLY what question the interviewer was asking and it was a very begrudging reply to the question...he's gone I reckon

Good Luck

Don't think it was the 'haters' as you put it, don't think there are 'haters' of him, he cost 32 million and apart from 15 goals last season and the occasional flash move what has he done to prove himself worthy of the shirt. The chap looks half arsed all the time.

Also go back to the day we signed him and I don't think you will find ONE poester who didn't want him here or were creaming themselves over him coming.

I for one remember that day and the season after. If you two feel a little hurt by the Hater comment well you might want to wonder why. But im referring to the media who have been wanting to right "Robby the failure" across the front pages. Robby is not playing his confident slick football at the moment but nor is Ireland should we kick him to the curb too. IMHO if Robby moves it will hurt us rather than help

If it was reference to the media then I apologise fully mate.

Mancini, said he thinks he will stay. If he does he needs to roll his sleeves up.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Mancini quite clearly

A) didn't answer the question initially pretending he didn't hear it

B) when the question was re asked pretended not to understand and went to his translator to bide him more time whilst he answered it. He then said "I think so"

Therefore in my opinion he's definitely off.

Reading far too much into it? That's exactly what happened, did you even watch it?

Both Sly and Bobby gave very unconvincing answers.

If he goes we most certainly require someone else to step in

In your mind maybe. He blatantly thought the question was about Robbie being subbed "off" and when he had it interpreted he was very clear that he wants him to stay. Sylvinho made it sound as if Robbie is concerned that he isn't playing, hardly a shock

I absolutely agree with Edge on this...it was completely obvious by Bobbys body language that he found the question uncomfortable

I reckon it's nailed on he's going

Im sorry but i think it was obvious mancio didnt understand the question. At first he thought the media were saying that because he subbed him again he'd be off. Maybe mancio doesnt know about the Brazil interview.

Not this time mate, they said that one of their reporters had just interviewed Mancio and their exact words were:

It's all specualtion - I'm (Mancio) expecting Robbie to stay, going nowhere.

Fully agree with the highlighted mate, I reckon he thought they were questioning the subbing.

As for the Brazil interview, didn't we have the same from Santos some time back which turned out to be just mis-communication?
