I can foresee a similar reaction from Robinho as the one Madrid got when he failed to get his move to Chelsea. The man clearly has the mental strength of a Cadbury's flake.

I didn't see that today mate. He looked well up for it and the relief on his face when he scored said it all.

PS. I like Cadbury's Flakes!

Neymar looks a hot prospect on FM, if that's of any help, lol. A similar kind of player to Robinho, indeed, but hoepfully with a better attitude if that part of the article is true.

As for Robbie going to Juventus...they are in shambles and will probably change manager soon, Diego himself is playing way below his standards there...hardly the place to go in a WC year.

any move would surely send a ripple through our squad filled the galaxy of stars. I'm annoyed that he hasn't accepted the dairy milk of human kindness from the fans, and appears to have turned fruit & nut.

We need to keep hold of all the players we can, it's a squad game this Premier League business, a Marathon not a sprint.

Not posted on this since the "news broke" as been mulling things over.

First and foremost I am very disappointed. I loved the way Robson played with a swagger ad a smile. It was a mind-blowing signing and last season if this had happened I would have been inconsolable because I'd be doubtful that we could replace the little smiling assasin.

However, I am desperately disappointed at him. He has had full support from us AND the club. He has been woeful away from home so how the cunt can complain about a plan not to play with 10 men (ie include his ineffectual ass) away from eastlands is beyond me?

We can and will replace him.

I don't want any more prima donna soft arsed joga bonita rapist twats at my club. More argies tho. Oh but fuck it I'll have neymar and his mate.

And finally... All you moaning cunts on the Subinho threat "get off his back, he's done nothing wrong"... You look like the naïve fools I knew you were. I wish I had been wrong tho

You old fucking woman lol. One question though, 'Has he actually moved and why does Mancio not know about this?'.

Beefmeister.

Whilst I think your continued (blind) optimism is quite lovely I think you need to face the reasonably overwhelming evidence that his interview (combined with the santos quotes present)

How much more of a "smoking gun" do you need.

If you came home from work to find Madame Boeuf in the shower and a used johnnie on your bedroom floor would you be able to convince yourself that you'd left it there...and forgotten about the bonking you hadn't done with her in the morning?

No?

Thought not..

Kind regards

You've got the chronology wrong, all the websites are now carrying the story from Brazil that broke before the match and then Mancini spoke after the match. No inconsistency, just websites slow to pick up the story I think

Looks like Robbie is worried that he won't get a game (probably worse with the world cup coming up) but Mancini is hoping to persuade him to stay and fight

There's no blind optimism mate as I'm not really a Robbie fan. I like it when he's on form and I hate it when he's not (infuriating actually); I support all the team the same. What I don't get is the actual interview. In there he says that he is being loaned out by the Board, yet Mancio doesn't seem to have any knowledge of it. How many boards don't actually consult their manager on such things?

On another level, I can see the timing of this to be perfect for Robbie. Another manager coming in would give him a get-out clause whilst saving face; blaming his previous ills on the new manager for not playing him every game.

The whole thing is just wrong.

As for the Madam Boeuf, that'd never happen. Her rigorous 7 day programme puts paid to that ;-)

Mancini seems to be saying he thinks Robinho will be staying but that Robinho has to want to stay & be willing to work hard, so presumably if he says to Mancini that he wants to go, he'll let him.

It's only about 2 days ago that Robinho said in an 'exclusive' that he's got no problem with Mancini picking different teams for different games & that he wants to stay, now this comes out. Obviously he tells people what they want to hear, hence his 'I love Barca' comments to the Spanish media, 'I love Santos' to the Brazillian media & 'I love City' to the British media.

God knows how this will end up, he obviously can't be trusted but I thought he played great today & I'll be very disappointed if he goes .

Something stinks about this to me. Call me an uber-optimist, but I just heard a quote from Santos on SSN (Hardly the best source I know) Saying they are meeting club officials in London on Tuesday to discuss it.

I think Mancini appeared baffled by the Robi situation when first asked on ITV, I don't think he knew anything about it. I know Mancini probably wouldn't be involved in this alleged meeting on Tuesday, and I find it pretty unlikely that club officials who would have to be present in negotiations would want such a distraction, the day before possibly the most important game since the takeover.

I think its bollucks personally. If I'm wrong, feel free to castigate and lambaste as customary!

what an absolute cop out. no desire whatsoever to stay and fight for his place in a great standard of league. he has the talent but he has got no heart at all. good riddance imo. you go and play in that shite league.

If he doesn't want to be here, nor be part of what could be a very special season for City, then he needs to go and quickly.

We can do without the constant Robinho soap opera and distraction when in effect, his performance on the pitch over the last year does not merit his opinion of himself to be in the team every week. Quite frankly he's contributed zilch bar newspaper headlines since Jan 2009, and he needs to have a long look at himself and his own efforts on the pitch.

Not effective enough, not consistent enough and away from home a complete liability when we dont have the ball - sometimes a liability when we have it as well. Very sad because he has had nothing but full backing from the club and fans alike, but if he still wants out then so be it. He is not bigger than the team, despite what he and his entourage may believe.

I hope he does stay and maybe yesterday's performance and the goal he scored will bring back some of his confidence.
If we stay in the FA Cup (all the way to the final hoepfully) and with the league matches, I think he will have enough opportunities to play and show himself.
