Surely Frank Lamps was involved in 50+ PL goals?
it's a record for a Belgian midfielder playing for City perhaps...
76 games is the quickest a Prem midfielder has been involved in 50 goals.

Ah, a City record .... that makes more sense
Sorry, meant to add the quickest by a midfielder.

So far in the PL we have allowed the opposition just 21 shots on target in 12 games. Spuds are the next best at 29 with Chelsea and dippers 38 and 39.
Proof, if any were needed, that actually our defence is solid

According to Adam Bate's article on Sky ( posted in the media thread here I think) we have yet to concede from a set piece this season.
We lso have the joint fewest goals conceded in the league after the weekend's games.

Absolutely.
Very nice indeed PD and it gives thought to a number of different connotations stemming from it, i.e. 'Mourinho gives his ordures to his team before kick off'.
Moreover, if you were a Scum supporting Geordie, you might be saying (in a thick Northumbrian accent) "or dour team displays are terrible to watch....."
It could also be a financial collective noun in 'how many Pogbas are there in an ordure' ??

April 1995 if it's losing away at half time.

cheers NT, that's the answer to the question I should have asked

the other answer would have been Bournemouth!

Fernandinho has become the first player in the premier league this season to break 1000 passes
He has made 1034 passes with a hugely impressive 91% success rate.

All joking aside, I'd say the likes of rags and dipper fans are sick to the teeth of hearing each record breaking stat thrown at them on a weekly basis

We have 46 points after just 16 games.
Southampton finished 8th last season on 46points

It's not a statistic as such but Leicester, who were recent PL Champions, aren't too badly placed for European Football next season, being currently in eigth place after 16 games. They have 23 points, exactly half the number we have.
At the moment, we're leaving other teams floundering in our wake.

Avast & Belay!!! Beware the Bony shoals ahead Skipper:roll:

Hopefully we're succeeding in giving them a wide berth on our circumnavigation of the Premier League JC.
