To be honest, I really thought he deserved it over Pellers. He took Palace from 4 points from their first 11 games to something like 11th place, and, had he managed that points average over the course of a season (bearing in mind that the second quarter of the season was, subjectively speaking 'harder' than the first quarter where all the points were lost), they'd have been a few points shy of the Rags.
If it was a choice between the two managers, it'd be Pellegrini for me (and most sane people) without a doubt, admittedly, but I still think Pulis rightfully won the award that season.
