Seriously though...all we've been linked to this window is DMs and defenders!
No mention of strikers at all really which is a bit disconcerting

Then again, you think Pearce is underrated manager.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'd be really surprised if we let 3 forward players leave without bringing in at least one. Mancio's not daft, I doubt its his or the clubs policy to leave us short in any area.
Somebody ate my grapes...

West Ham are close to sealing deals for strike duo Benni McCarthy and Benjani from Blackburn and Manchester City.
The Hammers hope to complete a £2.5million deal for McCarthy from Blackburn, in time for Tuesday's relegation battle against Portsmouth.

I'm going to Portsmouth tomorrow. The idea of McCarthy and Benjani leading the attack fills me with the kind of 'why am I bothering feeling'.

McCarthy's not that bad though if you get him back in shape.

Its the kind of signing I'd be more inclined to suffer if we hadn't been taken over, tbh.
Much underwhelmed.

Definitely go balls out for Mutu.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

On the bright side, Benji does have one amazing talent, the abilty to turn a miss kick into an assist. A rare and unique talent.

I was actually referring to McCarthy in a previous post, having temporarily sedated myself to the point of forgetting about Sideshow Ben.
An assist for which side by the way?

Our Benji put in 3 (yes three) assists in the Blackburn game for us. Not one was intentional... bless him.

YOU MUST FEEL LIKE SHIT BUT IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE WHEN YOU SEE HIM PLAY FOR YOU LOT.
HE WILL BE HAPPY THOUGH, AS THAT CUNT SEEMS TO GO TO BED AT NIGHT WITH A FUCKING COAT HANGER STUCK IN HIS MOUTH.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
