Really been impressed with him this season.
He’s brought the ball out well from the back but also been a solid defender. Scored some important goals as well.
Maybe he looked poor the past few seasons because of who he was partnered with?

He’s a really good defender who looks miles better when he has someone organizing him. It’s no surprise how many clear chances we’ve conceded at set plays since stones got hurt. The two of them could be a cracking partnership in our best ever side.
Tracking back is overrated.

Just think it's taken him a bit longer to play consistently in the Prem. He's had some howlers but I've always liked him to be honest.

He's been good all season. Who has been organising him?

Stones. Evidence in the fact we look more vulnerable from set pieces since Stones got injured.

I was particularly impressed with him as I had predicted he would score first. Good man Otter

The answer isn’t hidden there mate. Stones has become a leader in this team and otter has stepped up his game too.
Tracking back is overrated.

Expected more of him as he arrived with a big reputation. Disappointed first couple of seasons as he was a bit hit and miss but this season he’s been far more consistent. We’ve got 3 top center backs and then Mangala, he looked really lacking pace today.

Stones drips Captain potential, really excited for how the defence has shaped up. Otter is miles ahead where I saw him last year, I was worried with how some players would fit in Pep's system, but he's really risen to the challenge!

Still a shockingly bad centre half with little organisational or positional sense .

We’re on about Otamemdi mate, not Mangala.

I recall Pep saying earlier in the season that Otter is a guy who wants to learn. I think that's evident in his play this season that he's taking on board what he's being told.
I had had enough of him after the Monaco home game last season but I've u-turned, he's having an excellent season.
