I saw that totally differently. He went for a shot that was impossible for De Gea to catch, reducing his own chance of scoring, but eliminating the chance of a quick counter attack.

Not trying to miss, just prioritizing 3 points over a chance of either personal glory or a risky counter-attack.

Fukling ace that was... was a bit more nervy than it should have been but job done and totally outplayed them for all the world to see.
my only gripe if any was that we tried to go through the middle every time even when there was open space to get to the byline... which would have forced DeGea to cover his post and leave the net wide open for a late runner.
Top of the league, Records and a Derby win... knuckle down for the rest of december and we are looking good

It was the refs fault.
City players dive.
It was 100% a penalty.
We only won because of mistakes.

Some great entertainment on Redcafe. Some actually think we were simply 'lucky'.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Come April, Kompany would be hoisting the trophy and they would still be whimpering "lucky". Lucky is what the rag bastards were today. Bernardo could have made it 4 if he hadn't missed 2 sitters.

I think this might be Kompany's last straw. If Pep said that, it is really clear that he is very upset on Vinny and we have to agree on that.
Komps let us down too many times in the last 3 years and 90 % because of his own decisions.

City were lucky. They were lucky to play a team of rabbits in headlights. Teams in the bottom six have given us harder games than that. It's awesome that Gary Neville and Graeme Souness and even Henri just said we were a different class and even the best teams in the world don't hand Utd their arses at the swamp like we just did.

Fucking brilliant today to be fair. Only annoying that it wasn't 3 or 4 at HT.
On the balance of things attacking, purposeful football wins out. If we got beat today, the points margin would've increased still over the second half of the season.
