Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

There are 5 games (plus potentially rearranged matches due to cup schedule clashes) remaining after the game against them at the Etihad. There's a decent chance (given ours and rivals' form) that we could seal the title around that time. Going into the game, what position would you most like us to be in?

Won asap and have the rags down in 5/6th place, with them needing points hammer them 6-0.

Got to be beat them to win it for me.
Edited to add: ---> My avatar is Apollo Astronaut John Young. He died very recently and if ever there was a Colin Bell who flew to the moon, it was John Young.

It means we’ve been incredible.

Win it the game before. Rest all our first team players and have them clap out our second string team. Show them how insignificant they are to us

Win the title at the earliest opportunity, being decisive and ruthless.
I don't think it's the time for trying to manufacture a time for this fixture to coincide with us winning the title
It's like the Cup Competitions, would I prefer to beat the rags in the final? NO...I want them out at the first opportunity and us win, putting as much distance between us and them as possible in terms of success.
Do I want to beat them in the Champs League Final......NO....I want them out next round and flattened!!

As much as the rags disgust me, they are an irrelevence in the great scheme of things.
Get past Bristle on Tues, win the League cup and get that out of the way, then keep pushing on to win the League as soon as possible to free us up for the important games in the latter stagesof the CL. Take what we can from the FA Cup, winning it would be fine.
As we go further, the pressure of a fixture pile up might hinder our progress toeards the end of the season, just as the harder European games hit us.
The quadruple is a tall order, the rags don't even come into our equation.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

I'd rather win the league without giving a seconds thought about them lot, honestly amazed that this thread even exists! We do seem to have a large number of our own fans seem to spend more time talking about or thinking about them lot.... I just find it really weird. No wonder they call us obsessed!

I fully agree on that.
But if it were to pan out that way and bearing in mind the long-lasting and traumatic effect of the Aguero Moment, it would be nice.
They still suffer from that now, bloke at work says it was his worst moment in football
