Can apparently play at left back too, looks good on paper this and not signing Johnny Fucking Evans is a bonus too.

The "City" in me thinks we'll end up with Evans instead of this guy...

Hope to god I'm wrong :!:

This looks like it's getting a head is steam up. No smoke without fire, I think we will get this done and he can play in the CL. Will Mangala go anywhere though?

My question would be, who would get dropped from the CL squad, non-playing Kompany or not-playing-well Mangala?

Ludicrous statement. He's been outstanding this season, and more dependable than any of our other defenders. And we're currently 12 points clear at the top of the table and in a cup-final.

Would be nice to see both of them out for, say, Laporte and Maguire. Keeping Vincent with the CFG, obviously.

No way Kompany would be in the squad given his injuries. I think Pep has lost all faith in him, club captain or not.

Possibly right Notts, I think Vinny will not be a City player next season. Hopefully he goes to NYCFC as he will want a couple more years playing. I think he will retire from international football after the World Cup also.

odd considering that all other reports say that we’ve triggered his release clause...

It is odd. It's on the MEN site. Brennan says that despite reports they are still haggling over the price.

If we want him we’ll have to pay the reserve price and we know that. There is talk of a few million to do with the UEFA obligation training? Never heard of it. We absolutely need a top CB and he fits the bill. Three at the back next season with Walker and Mendy as wing backs.
