faked photo on the Beeb ?
I'm not a fan of the BBC football media, but I don't think it's faked, it wasn't a prediction, it says Watson underneath the 1-0 score.
I'm not sure why he thinks the price of players we signed in the last couple of years are relevant to a result 5 years ago.
As I said, probably a school projext. Blame the kid's father.

That's actually pissed me right off.
I'm just back from Tenerife, freezing my bollox off, and about to go back in to work.

Nice bit of writing about the three goal scorers from Sunday. Was great to see three legends score for us in a cup final like that.
Worth a read, it's a bit light as articles go, but a nice reminder of the contributions Vinny Serg and David have made to us.

Nice.
What has irked me over the last few days is this notion that we are starting a dynasty and this is the first pot on this road. Have we not won 2 PL titles, (and are on the cusp of a third), 2 League Cups and an FA cup prior to this season in recent times? Indeed I'd imagine if a PL table was done over the past 7 years since the FA cup win that we would be top and by some distance.
We are already in a period whereby although we don't dominate in the way the dippers did in the 80s or the rags under Bacon, we are still the best side consistently over a longish period and we are stil evolving and improving and will only get better

Notts,
You're almost right, but in fact it has been from 2010 that we have dominated the accumalitive points totals of the current top 6. (2010 - 2018 inc; and this season's points total added too makes it 9yrs we have been on top.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Here's the data. Yellow is for highest that year.

Also, goal difference since Guardiola arrived:
100 City
57
48
88
79
66
and points since Guardiola arrived:
150 City
125
120
138
146 Chelsea
130

It still seems like yesterday that it all happened and we signed Robinho, 9 years - wow!

And what a holy duck moment it was too, yet none of us really grasped immediately how significant it was going to be!!!
