Salah has the same amount of assists as Silva. Only Sane and KDB have more for us.
Salah’s all round game has been excellent season. There’s no denying that.
If I had a vote I’d choose KDB as he’s been the key factor leading us to trophies. But Salah wouldn’t be the first player to win the POTY award and not win the league and with the season he’s having its easy to see why many people think he should get it.

Interestingly (according to Wikipedia), Cruyff didn't win Dutch PoTY (or its equivalent) in any of the seasons he won the Ballon d'Or...

As in the Dutch league? Was he not playing at Barca?

All he did was play centre stage and chip in with some goals and assists

Nationality and the team you play for counts, just think about the stuff Deli Ali gets away with.

At the beginning of this month Eden Hazard was quoted as saying he voted for De Bruyne over Salah.
So it’s either finished or ongoing.

I think that's for the PFA award, rather than the Premier League's own award, although as players get two votes it's not clear from that whether he voted De Bruyne first and Salah second (if you are able to 'rank' your votes), or if it was De Bruyne and A.N. Other, with Salah not getting a look in.

as many have said, Kevin has drastically dipped for the last month or so, which is what i think will essentially hand the award to Salah--unfortunately, that being said, when Kevin was on fire for most of the season there wasn't any competition whatsoever with Salah, even though Mo was still scoring at that point. and his 4 goal haul vs Watford will just be the recent thing that sticks in voter's minds.
