Have you watched him play at all? Or are you dismissive of anyone who plays in the Championship?

Some people are just to dismissive if it's not Messi, Kaka or Torres were being linked with. Top young talent I see no problem with that!!

It explains that he was a youngster competing with an England international for the same spot, yet has still managed just under 100 games in 5 years.

Boro sold Downing because they knew they would be set with this lad.

Downing played in front of him, Johnson is a kid who has flourished this season after Boro sold Downing. I don't rate Downing but he is an English international and they were in a dog fight so he was always going to play ahead of him.

Wtf .
Seriously.
Load of shit, he is not a good prem player btw.
Was on the bench mostly when Boro was in relegation from the prem.
So howe on hell can we buy this guy?
I give up.

Sorry Paul but you are typing wank. Johnson, if he moves now, will be, if he moves now, in the England squad by christmas 2010. Petrov has done well for us but does not, IMO warrant another contract. Here is your replacement. Tricky feet, old fashioned winger, improving body strength, yes, get him.

Agree with that, he stands out as boro's best player by a country mile.

I actually thank our lucky stars he went off injured in our fa cup match against them, where he was outstanding and frankly could've caused us to banana skin.

What is all this fucking bollocks? We are the richest club in the world. We are getting pilloried for being the richest club in the world and yet we're too fucking scared to flex our financial muscles and go for the best.
!00m for Torres
100m for Rooney
100m for Gerrard

Jesus Christ guys what is the point in having the money if you're not going to fucking use it.
