Portsmouth - website

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Portsmouth - website

Postby ruralblue » Thu Jan 28, 2010 12:09 pm

They are so fucked up in financial trouble that their official website has now shut down cause they haven't kept up the payments with the site developers. It don't look good for them does it. Portsmouth are one of them clubs who don't really bother me (apart from that fat bastard with the drum), though I wouldn't like to see them go to the wall.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

I hope they survive. I can't imagine how I'd feel if the club I support went under.

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

D'ya know what, I can't stand Pompey but the opening post on [urlnp=http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=424&fid=203&sty=2&act=1&mid=2123054514]THIS LINK[/urlnp] really made the situation hit home with me. Really feel for their fans, what a horrible situation to be in

I hope we do...I'm travelling over. Could they go out of business before then? I don't know how much per month it would take to run a website, but surely not too much.

I notice they have a development centre on Guernsey, and haven't been able to pay the £2k for facilities.....it sounds seriously sh!tty

If all this is true then they won't be able to complete the season and we'll lose the 3 points we got off them earlier in the year.

I have a sneeking feeling we may be the last club to play Pompey in their present guise.

I sincerly hope I'm wrong...People jobs, homes marriages are a stake, and their support of their club of course.

I feel a bit sorry for them now, but come Sunday when their fans are giving it "You're the shit of Manchester" I'll be happy to see them go!

no sympathy, sounds like a load of dodgy fuckers were allowed to run the club. 'arry surely needs to take some of the blame offering ludicrous amounts to players went they didnt have the funds.

hope we absolutely batter them on sunday. however we will probably lineup with 3 defensive midfielders :(

How is it Harry's fault? He doesn't sanction the cheques or look after the finances.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."
