How is that not a yellow for Pique! Two footed off the ground, got the ball but also got the man.

Good game the Spain one. Morocco just missed a sitter to go in front again

Can't say I blame the Portuguese manager. Bernardo was very anonymous in the two first games.

Though I seem to be watching a different match to the commentators at times

Wow. What a game. Morocco can consider themselves unlucky to not win that. Spain looking very shaky

A goal is a goal.
That was a goal. He was clearly onside.
Morocco switched off for 5 seconds.
The only question is had the ball gone out for the lead up to the corner.

If VAR survives , football will die.
We don’t need the extra shit that it brings . Permanent abuse of the referee, players pretending
they have been hit in the face, diving all over the place . Referees giving wrong cards .
A complete and utter mess . This World cup has been absolute dross so far.

I take it back Nidge.
I take it you’re talking about the Portugal game. Just seen the highlights now.
This WC is showing how shite VAR can be and how great when it’s used correctly.
Spain were blessed to get a draw but VAR rightly gave them the goal that saved them.

Correct. I'm all in favour of VAR simply to prevent a repeat of our Champs league qtr final legs at home and away. I want it to prevent the ref from cheating again, but who is to say the VAR judges won't cheat too! The Iran game makes you wonder, but the benefits are obvious if used properly as with Spain's late goal.
