When the lad was about 8 Keith Curle took us round the players in that bar at Crystal Palace getting the autographs. We were a bit of a nuisance I suppose and they'd just lost (again) and played like a bunch of cunts, but he was first class. Probably felt guilty and that we were a bit mad.
Paul Walsh on the other hand,(first out) had no time for us as he was hurrying to put a couple of bottles of beer in his kit bag and get out on the town. Which probably shows why we often lost.
