Arsenal:

Cech
Bellerin Mustafi Sokratis Maitland-Niles
Ramsey Xhaka Guendouzi
Ozil Auba Mkhitaryan

fancy going at that defense

And it looks like sterling is on the left instead. I can't recall one game where sterling played well in that position

Surprised Sterling is starting over Sane.

Sane was around for all pre-season but Pep didn't play him much. Is everything ok with those 2?

something has to give when your entire attacking midfield prefers playing on the right

Maybe it's because he was crap in the Charity Shield? Maybe he still feels that knock?

So no Silva, Danilo, Zinchenko, or Delph in the squad. When everyone is fit the first 2 will likely be in the squad meaning that Foden, Zinch, and Delph all miss out—or one of the 4 CBs.

Not sure why Zinchenko stayed; must be hoping Mendy and Delph get injured.
Delph will likely go this summer too. Squad is too bloated.

Pep built up some trust and confidence with me last season, but I do get the feeling sometimes that hes a cocky prick and thinks he doesn't have to put out his best team to win.

Not going to argue with you there mate! Just surprised he's straight back in the team after no pre-season.

But if he plays anything like he did last season then all is well. I hope he plays on the right though. He's much better there.

Good enough side to win the fixture. Would've preferred KDB to Gundogan but its not as if Gundogan is poor. Be good to see Bernado in the middle as well

Obviously doesn’t think Tintin’s ready for 90 minutes which is understandable. I presume Silva Fernandinho Gundogan the midfield three with Sterling Aguero Mahrez the front three but very fluid as ever.

Come on City!

The woman on Sky is a breath of fresh air. She actually sounds excited to be talking about football. Souness should go ahead and off himself because he should like he can't wait for death

Need 5 to go top, and will be great to see what Mahrez can do

COME ON CITY
