As bad as that article is its still not as bad as the fact than none of the "top" pundits or media fuckwits will have any bollocks and call it out for what it is and that's simply "I'm a cunt, I've achieved fuck all for myself so all I can hope for is to write click bait pieces of cockwobbling nonsense in the hope I get some air time for myself to make my shity self harming life have any meaning"

I just don't get it? Had a quick look at her wiki page, for what it's worth, and seen that she's a Juve fan but has never lived in the country, nevermind the city. It also states that she gets stick because she comments on football, as if a woman shouldn't be aloud. Seems she's hard done by and we should take her seriously?

Well, you might if she actually got the facts right. Firstly, Pep hasn't told anybody to play his style of football. In fact, he went the complete opposite way and stated that he's not here to change it, just the way City play. And the 5 times in 24 away games, surely he's played more away games than that and I can categorically state that he's won more than 5 with us. Did he not win away with Bayern or Barca, that would be some feat! I'm sure he achieved a few records last season as well, can't think of any off the top of my head, ones that he didn't beat anyway.

So, for me, the rant is because she is angry with what Pep has achieved, and with City. Why would somebody want to rant about People unless they have been hurt in some way and I'd guess that she's a typical know-nowt sheep who uses the Juve thing as a front, as if to give her more street cred. I'd suggest that she's actually a lover of all things Rag or Dipper and the thought of Pep getting one over her true club is burning her up inside.

Other than that, she's a stupid cunt that the MEN have used as click-bait.

It's 5 away wins in the knock-out stages.

I assume the latter is true, but it is a selective figure. The aim is to the win the knock out tie, regardless of the score in the away match. One would not expect the away tie in a later stage to be a walk-over. Unless she draws some proper analysis from it, it is meaningless. Pep must be doing something right:

2008/09 Winner
2009/10 Semi-Final
2010/11 Winner
2011/12 Semi-Final
2013/14 Semi-Final
2014/15 Semi-Final
2015/16 Semi-Final
2016/17 Last 16

Cheers Pete but it still stands as silly bollox to paint a narrative that suits her rant. As shown here by Hutch, it has to be in context and not disingenuous. We have been told, and seen, many a time, how a draw or at least scoring a goal away gives you the advantage, yet she seems to not realise the difficulty of the CL when you get to the Knockout stage; if it was that easy it would be an open tournament where it's not only the few that win it. And totally missing anything and everything to do with what he has achieved, just a strange one for me from somebody I've not actually heard of.

Makes sense mate. Never heard of her and totally understandable she gets stick. Not because she's a woman, just because she comes out with claptrap like that.

'He has had a mixed opening to the season at United, playing just 122 minutes in all competitions, not starting since the opening game against Leicester and getting sent off for thrusting his head at Phil Bardsley at Burnley' - that's not mixed, its pure crap :D :D . He does have qualities but this over-hyping is not helping him.

Exactly.

I suppose he had a "mixed" season last season as well? The media are a funny old bunch - you'd swear he had a better season than Sterling by the way they speak about him. When in actual fact, he had a disgraceful season and Sterling was electric.

But one plays in red and the other in blue.

Seen an article today in the Sun about FFP rearing its head again. Apparently clubs are to be limited to a net spend of £90M per season. The headline includes us and PSG. No surprise there.

But the last laugh is now on us as with the Academy now bearing fruit, it isn't us who are at the risk of falling foul of this.

The Aguero situation could be a problem and perhaps the Fernandinho one as well. Apart from that, I think we are pretty well set and won't need any huge acquisitions in the next few seasons.

Think a replacement for Fernandinho will be in the region of £50M. Aguero on the other hand.

I meant more in the case that we need to replace two or more of our spine in one window/season.

Well that could be a problem if this FFP gets off the ground. I wonder if its actually a way to stop transfer fees getting even higher. Though i reckon Aguero probably has a year extra on Fern so we may not sign both replacements in a single window

Heard a little on the radio and I think they said £89 million (100 mil euros) net loss in one season. Whichever it is, it's there to once again cement the current old guard at the top and ensure that they get the most revenue. Double whammy with the introduction of historical seeding when it comes to CL payments.

Heard that the Dippers got approx 70 mil from the CL last season but if they did the same this season it would jump to approx 120.

There's only one loser in all this, and it's the majority of clubs that are historically outside of the old guard.

Corrupt? You fucking bet it is and they're not ashamed to let everybody know it.

The BBC are very selective in their "news" pieces. They're just behind the mirror at the moment.

Clubs are compelled (I think by the FA or maybe the Premier League?) to publish 'tickets sold' per game - police are compelled (for health and safety reasons) to keep actual matchday attendance figures. It keeps coming up in the media every now and then, usually to beat us around the head with the discrepancy.

Strangely, Merseyside police are not compelled to hold that data and were therefore unable to publish it. The game we played against Southampton was apparently attended by 38k according to the police. I was at that game and there was a lot more than 38k there. One of us is lying.
