I wrote that. I gather it from the article I translated in this thread, which says he's going today for his medical, so I guessed this would be done at Carrington ;) But who knows if Sky Italia have their facts right about the medical being today...

True there is nothing openly talking about this, but there is news of Parma buying Valiani from Bologna, who is a midfielder too, so maybe this could be interpreted as a move in light of Mariga leaving them.

He did really well in Sweden a few seasons ago, but that doesn't much ... What does speak for his talent is that he was bought driectly from the Swedish league by an Italian club. Most players in the Swedish competition takes the step to the big leagues through the Dutch or Danish leagues.

I really think this is a done deal now, or very close to be. Parma's list of players for the match against Inter doesn't enclude him, but does include the new midfielder they bought from Bologna, a move that was officialised today.
