Indeed. Interesting he doesn’t get a shout for France as he was the under 21 captain I believe.

I think there are hints he may play for Spain instead.

I think Varane-Umtiti is their partnership. But yeah while the latter is injured Im surprised that Laporte hasnt been called up.
But its better for us...he doesnt need all those useless matches. He's already playing every league & CL match for us.
