I don't want to dis the opposition but they aren't invincible, currently sitting second in what is now a 2 team league (after Monaco's demise)
P W D L GF GA GD PTS
14 8 3 3 24 16 8 27

3 losses were to Reims (8th) , Nice (7th) & a sound 5-0 lesson from PSG.

That with their 2 draws against Hoffenheim & the other draw against Shaktar, i'd say we we respect them and take our chances we will win this and top the group with a game to spare.

Be happy with that.
Our best back 4.

Think Mahrez will start myself. With possibly Sterling up front in place of Aguero

Not a bad shout that NB. It's never easy second guessing Pep but I can see the sense in that.

I think it's too big of a game for him to start at his age. Look at when Tosin started vs Arsenal a few years back and gave away a penalty. Not good for his confidence or development at all.

Decent outfit. To be fair we have the strongest in England by far and whatever XI we put out it’s gonna be a strong one

Sterling, Mahrez and Sane in the same side!

Interesting to see them all start tonight. I’d hate to be a Lyon defender.

fair enough but then why build him up in the presser? he could have just said "we will see" or handled it a million other ways. the mysteries of pep i suppose.

why not build him up? good for his confidence and he still may get 30 minutes if we have a good first half.

With our front 4 the goals should follow
