Fucking bog brush with a handball to control the ball before scoring in the last minute. Fucking disgraceful.

Poor, poor performance, but job almost done. Draw at home with Hoffe and we win the group.
I hope we will not see us playing like that in the next months.

On tonight's performance we have a limited chance of winning the CL. That was quite awful. We should have been 3-0 down at HT.

Parking the hype ignited from battering shite PL sides, really how good are we in terms of the better european sides.

Favourites for the CL? Really?

I'd give a lot of credit to Lyon. Despite how we played, they are a very good team with some excellent individual players. One of the best we've faced this year

Didn't lose, qualified, and still top of the group. Not the best game, but away games in Europe have been much worse for us in past years.

Had to be said that. Spot on.
For me our last amazing UCL game was at home versus UEFAlona. In the others, imho, we struggled. We outplayed Napoli last season who was concentrated on the league, because they are far more superior in the Champions this season, with the title already gone.

I find it hard to understand the reason/s behind this, behind us playing poor, but there are slim chances on us winning the trophy.

A sobering reminder that against some European teams Pep's tactics and our players aren't up to the job.

For whatever reason, it's mostly been french teams (Monaco & Lyon). Pep pretty much dominated Germany and Spain with the same tactics so I don't know if I'd put it down to Pep's tactics.

Our whole front 4 and especially Sane had a stinker though. Sane is such a strange player. Can go from world class to uninterested league one player in just a few days.

Reading the thread i find it quite strange that nobody has given Lyon credit, they've been far the best team we've faced this season. They got at least 3 forward when they had a chance and turned to a back 5 + 3 as soon as we got the ball; their tactics were excellent and worked their balls off to boot.

Was actually impressed to see our mental strength and this game will remind us that games should never be taken lightly.

Good result, we're through, now to win the next game to finish top.

Real Madrid last season? Didn't exactly make a great start, scraped through group stage and look how it turned out for them. I'd rather play shit now than in later stages. If we get to semis, we have a chance. Couldn't care about performance at this stage, get the job done and no injuries picked up.

I think it was down to his marker surprisingly, the nippy little ex-rag was just kind he doesn't like. Leroy just gives up, goes inside and stops making offers and runs when he's stopped a few times. ,

We are currently playing some of the best football the premier league has ever seen. The Champs league is a step up definitely but we have just qualified by drawing away from home against a very good team, with a game to spare, whilst playing badly. Sterling, Silva, Mahrez, Sane and Aguero were nowhere near their best tonight.
We will learn from these types of games 100%.
Can we win it? I think if the fuckin bindippers can get to the final with their kick and rush football. Yes of course we can. CTID

Some of the comments on here are a fucking disgrace !!! Lyon are very decent and well organised , we never got into top gear , the ref curtailed Ferns game with a ridiculous early yellow card , Sane had one of those games where he looks a proper spoilt cunt , Mahrez was sloppy first half but much better second half when switched to his favoured position apart from that we were ok and battled not to lose the game . Dead rubber now v Hoffenheim at home , so many games in the next 30 days or so just look at the bigger fucking picture eh instead of slagging the team off FFS !!! We cant win every fucking game 6 fucking nil get fucking real !!!!
