I think the watching millions of TV fans witnessing thousands of fans streaming out ,when we are playing electric football , is more embarrassing than having a house 5 k short of the capacity , but who watch the match till the end.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

For me this is what is lacking from Maine Road. We had the fans there almost on the backs of our opponents.
Bottom rows of seats are quite close to the goals , city put extra in a few years ago . Atmosphere was rocking in the derby and city fans always turn up the volume in the big games .
Yeah, I remember they did it with the expansion, but coul be even better to put othere there. Maybe at the same level? Like in a cinema, so they could almost touch the net.

63000 doesn't go far enough for my money. If we are going to put a third tier on the North Stand in a similar fashion to the extension on the South Stand, then at the same time we should put another level on the East stand. Make it 75000.
Doesnt really matter if we don't fill it every game. We will for probably 8/10 games which is all the likes of Barca do in a season. Having a bigger capacity might mean we get the more casual fan if the tickets are priced properly. At the moment most games are either sold out or have very limited supply on the day. Having a bigger capacity means fans can just rock up on the day and pay on the door if they want.
We want to be the best club in Europe so that means having the best stadium as well

It's season ticket holders that are the reason we have a less than capacity 'match day' attendance - the club could fill the ground every game if they could re-allocate every season ticket seat that wasn't attending. (This also why the 'tickets sold' attendance figure is higher than the match day attendance total).

There were a few questions in the survey about the use of the ticket exchange scheme, which is the club's attempt to address this I suppose. Likewise the suggestion of season ticket for the 'big games' only would allow them to sell tickets for lesser draws elsewhere I'm guessing.

maybe the club could build a hyperloop system for me so that it doesn't take 4 hours each way (on a good run with the state of the fucking motorways) to get to manchester?

My journey's 2 1/2 hours each way and I still make it to every home game, including midweek games. It's worth the effort - and the road hassle - for the football we play.

Extra trans instead of stopping the Etihad station could help. Over here on match days they increase the public transport in and out to avoid people waiting for ages and congestion on the roads.
Tracking back is overrated.

Trains (Northern Rail) are on strike every weekend and in and around Manchester City center traffic is mostly gridlocked 24/7 . Probably the easiest way to get into Manchester on a match day is on a train from London and I aint joking !

They added three rows at the front of the North, East and South stands.

They have to sort out the roads around the stadium pre and post kickoff.
Surely there is a solution. Dual carriageways all round the stadium.
Someone should offer the council some drone filming above the stadium before and after games and study what it is that causes all the problems. I bet it’s just a couple of traffic lights that need their timings changed before and after games for 30 minutes.
