Got a mate who's a Shrewsbury fan, doesn't hold back when it comes to the Rag/Dipper love-in for some reason.

Not keen on the place though, did a golfing tour around the area and found a pub to watch the City game. It was like a throw back to the 80s Connie Club where you sat down and the seat was reserved for Ethel or Albert. For some reason they looked at City fans as 2nd class which made me think that the !ajority had the Rags as their '2nd' team.

6 thumbed fucks ;-)

I'm sure they're more accommodating elsewhere mate and totally got that it was just a one off. Did get to a few other pubs and had a great time mate but had little interaction with the locals. Went in one which I think was a private opening night and they were handung out the champagne. The 4 of us quaffed as much as we could before being asked if we had been invited. One of the lads said 'Sorry, we're cancelling. Cheap champagne and only a botle each!'.

Was funny at the time.

I had no idea that Wolverhampton would be the closest club to Shrewsbury - I thought it would have been Hereford, Crewe or Chester until I looked on a map just now!

I was at a work leaving function last night.
Great craic meeting up with a load of lads I used to work with and hadn’t seen in ages.

Anyway the Arsenal v United game was on so The United supporters were happy.

To a man though they all said City will still win the league. That they’ll beat Liverpool but might only get a point from us.

All hoped we would win, over The Scouse.

Agreed with the word ‘delusional’ to describe them.
