Not at all. This is not sterling's first time playing of the left. Mahrez has played well of the left previously and if there was any space out wide I'm sure pep would change them. The thing is Watford are defending really deep and there is no space to go on the outside, so sterling and Mahrez have to turn in and drag the fullbacks with them. Mahrez is just doing it better at the moment

Sterling has been muck, but Mahrez has not been a lot better. He’s very one dimensional and very easy to read.
