If there was any of the 3 games we could afford to lose that was it. Given that Pep didn't make changes when they scored, you have to think he has that in mind and is confident we can do it. Also with Kane out our chances improve.

I think he was worried about the typical 3 goals in 10 mins that we have succumbed to in previous years, and in fairness they scored against the run of play. So I think his thought process was to just keep it tight, try for a bonus goal in the final minutes, but happy enough to take it back to ours and win it there.

It will turn out to be pure genius or pure stupid.

Pep bottled that. KDB and Sane at 70, when Spurs didn't know what day it was and who knows. I'm 100% he bottled it. Actually, totally fucked it up.

Let's see if it was a plan or we are getting to the point of exhaustion. I looked the other day and noted that we had played 9' extra games to the likes of the Dippers which obviously has a huge affect on stamina. Is that what Pep is managing?

1-0 is nothing as we take them back to ours, also considering they didn't have a game at the weekend, I'm fairly happy with the result tonight.

Not a bad shout that beefy we said as much ourselves here tonight. If we were going to lose one in this ridiculously intense run of games then this was the one for me. By such a narrow margin means we are still in with a massive shout

Relax, Carl.

It wont matter.

Spurs were nothing more than average today mate and with the right team out we would have won.

PeP fucked up with the most stupidest lineup hes ever come up with....and it was a quarter fuckign final....what a prick.!

I know but Spuds got lucky at home.

Harry Hotspur is out , Son has a problem with his calf, Deli can't jizz on Nigels Tackle.

We have three important points on Sunday.

We will destroy spuds next week and again on the Saturday .

Mahrez will not be involved in either game.

At come on sterling was miles better than mahrez who was just awful.

Raz gave the ball away all night. Terrible again. I know we’re only allowed to slag mahrez and gundo but it’s true. So disappointing that he bottled going at trippier.

I haven't been hard on mahrez and I don't pick on him but tonight I thought him and walker were an absolute disaster. Sterling at least tried.

Spurs set out at home to contain us and stop us scoring and got lucky . Pep was managing a situation and managing the squad and would have took a draw all day long . Spurs wont have a chance of containing us at the Etihad and Kane looks fucked for a while .

Walker poor. Delph dreadful. Laporte our best defender yet again. Gundogan did ok especially in second half. Mahrez v poor as was Sterling by his usual standards. Sergio affected by penalty miss? Main disappointment Silva. Golden opportunity but he fell short, not for the first time this season. Will Jesus please learn the offside law. What is wrong with him?

Gundogan was the weakest link today in my opinion. Back passing all the time, too scared to turn around which led to poor build up.

Who says they wont score at ours ? what god given right have we got that we can just automatically say we will beat them ?

If we score and they score we are fucked - They are more than capable to score more than 1 goal at our place !! They fucking scored today without Kane being on the bastard pitch and thats with them playign AVERAGE for fucks sake !

PeP managed fuckall today - he picked the wrong team and the evidence was there for all to see.

Pretty sure we are capable of scoring a few . Pretty sure Spurs will play with 10 behind the ball without Kane at the Etihad and hope to nick one goal . Pretty sure IF we go 2 up Spurs have to open up and get panned ! Not for the faint hearted so you may well need to have a lye down that night or get a nurse in !

Well, we are in a better position than I anticipated at 19:30 tonight. As others have said spurs were for the best part average this evening, arguably their 12th man I.e. the crowd were better.

Pep really must start with this team next week

Eddy
Walker, stones, laporte, zinchenko or bendy
Fernandinho
KDB, Bernardo
Sterling, Sanè
Sergio

Who they got at the weekend? They will need a win as the top 4 is far from secure for them.

Oh and pinocchio can fuck off giving large to Delph, Kane the cunt went in heavy on Delph deliberately, karma I believe they call it.

Regardless of the spon sane did not play against Cardiff or Brighton. He is fresh. And he played a few minutes. Theres an arguement to say mahrez fully deserves a rest now.... until prevseason.

Also Walker is wank.
