Short sleeved City shirt over your jumper

WTF is it all about?

Do any of you do it? If so, why don't you just buy a long-sleeved shirt and wear something warm underneath

It is one of those things I have never remotely understood. Never done it and can't see me doing so.

But some of you must do....who does?

(it's a bit like the supporter equivalent of Micah/Petrov wearing short sleeved shirt and wooly gloves IMO)

I do this quite often.

I want a short sleeve shirt for warmer weather but then I want to show off the colours on colder days and don't want to fork out for a long sleeve version of the same top!

I even sometimes where a previous season's short sleeve top over my motorcycle leathers riding to games!

haha...there's no problem obviously, I just don't get it when it's cold. I'm quite happy just having my shirt underneath something warm. Maybe pop a scarf or a bobble hat on to show my colours ;-)

Agree with the other posters, do it all the time in winter. T-shirt then jumper and City shirt on top to drive over to Manchester showing my colours along the way. Then 4 more jumpers and City coat, and I'm all set

Only time I ever wear my City shirts is on holiday...or the odd time round town in the summer...I've never worn colours to a match...not particularly because i'm out to cause trouble as some might think...I just think it's not really a good look ;-)

What is it about boarding an aircraft that makes people suddenly desperate to proclaim their allegiance to their team?
It's a widespread phenomena and the perpetrators usually accompany the shirt with shorts, flip-flops and obesity. Football shirts and shorts are inappropriate flying wear and should be banned, I'll be more lenient towards the fat, though they should be made to pay for two seats and to ensure they don't start sweating all over the place.
