I can see Ota leaving and hopefully Mangala so a couple in at least.

Who knows with Pep?

Why would we give Mangala a year extension to sell him?

No thanks.

Over priced and over rated. Only thing he be good for us is the odd aerial bombardment.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assume we will play two centre halves in whatever formation we go with next season. Laporte is one of them. Surely Stones is the other one? Thus if we are to then assume we need a replacement for Kompany, we only need a guy who can play 15/20 games as a stand in. We aren’t going to spend £60M+ on such a player. Plus, hopefully Pep will have cottoned onto the fact a stable defence who play together regularly concedes less goals than one which is chopped and changed.

The lads from the EDS, Garcia and Sandler may well get a few opportunities in the coming season. Sandler especially shows huge potential. Now, if Otter goes as well, then we will need a decent replacement. Maguire looks half decent for Leicester and with better coaching could improve his game. But for my money, there are other areas of the team that needs recruitment first

Need to keep Otter now that Vinnie is off in my opinion. Need someone experienced.

If we get a new defensive midfielder in, Fern may drop down to central defender as well.

Not for me, he reminds me of the Phil Jones hype when he was at Blackburn. Not for me, move along please.

It's a big fat NO from me, too. Think the Phil Jones analogy is spot on.

I really hope not. A Stones-Laporte partnership is much better but I guess Pep really wants to replace Vinny's aerial prowess and doubts Stones can do that

Big lump of a telly-headed centre half from what I have seen of him. Agree with the Phil Jones comparison so that is not a good thing. We can do so much better with the money that we would have to spend on him. That said, we do need to find someone who is capable of winning the ball in the air at both ends of the pitch. If we got the Rodri kid, I could see Fern dropping into the CB role. A big season for Stones, he needs to knuckle down & stop dicking around off the pitch

Have we forgot how good he is on the ball, he is no Phil Jones. If his audition was at our place recently.....

Brilliant at taking the ball out of defence, extremely difficult to knock off it but it's his speed of thought and passing is where I'd be concerned, not sure he's up to that short, sharp passing game at the back, a bit too clunky in his movement.

I think it's very hard for we mere mortals to judge who Pep thinks he can turn into a player
