Community shield is still just the final friendly before season starts so 14 days before proper football is back imo

I will be watching from a bar stool in an air conditioned bar in Puerto Banus, last year it was Kefalonia and there were more City than Chelsea watching.

Of course it's a friendly Carl Mate. It says it in the name...'COMMUNITY'.
The profits all go to charity, that's if there's owt left after the FA & Wembley businessmen have taken their bit of expenses out.
Those whacky scousers with their down to Earth sense of humour and scouse wit will make it a day to to celebrate the kinship of our wonderful game.
Just picture it Carl....the cheeky chappies from Liverpool bunking in (because they've spent all their benefits on booze and something to snort up their noses) to overfill a section or two of Wembley so they can crush up next to each other to get that warm cosy feeling.
And as City fans stroll to the ground past the scouse invaded pubs, their supporters sharing a glass or two, maybe empty and thrown in jest, but a generous gesture thto at should be accepted with gratitude.
Who can forget the way they lined their streets to welcome our team bus on its way to their slime pit? The feeling of togetherness they must have felt as burglars, thugs and thieves (who had taken a night off their work) mixed happily with their bitter enemies the Merseyside Police, who even parked their publicly funded vehicles so they could gain a better vantage point to get a better aim with their welcoming missiles.
It's in the name 'SHIELD'...What you'll probably need to defend yourselves on the day.
Yes Carl it is a friendly.....Or then again.....maybe, just maybe.....NO IT FUKKIN ISN'T!!!!!!!
