The feeling of togetherness they must have felt as burglars, thugs and thieves (who had taken a night off their work) mixed happily with their bitter enemies the Merseyside Police, who even parked their publicly funded vehicles so they could gain a better vantage point to get a better aim with their welcoming missiles.
