I dunno what's going on.
He can't leave now. It's bad enough we're going in with 3 senior defenders. He's the most experienced, and we lose him it will mean someone not familiar with the system and then Dinho and Garcia who are not proven CBs as the 3rd CB. That's mad.
I think us not pursuing a CB is trying to tell him we want him to stay.
I gather if Valencia meets or gets close to what we want for him then we sell and use the funds to help fund the purchase someone else.

We basically played with 3 CBs last season so we'll be fine. Walker, Fernandinho, and Danilo can all fill in there if need be
