Thought Vieira looked good too. Mancini just took the wrong guy off to bring him on in my opinion.

Aye agree with that, some of the balls he played into the box today were superb. Don't understand why he didn't start as he was tearing Dawson a new one from the minute he was on. He's got an eye for playing a good ball through the defence as well.

In my opinion yes. I don't rate SWP beyond top 6 side. Same for Petrov really.

Vieira seemed to have us controlling the game for about 15 minutes after he came on, Johnson looked dangerous, so two positives but at the end of the day even 2-2 would of been a terrible result so too lose is fucking shocking.

????

He has played 45 minutes for us FFS. KK were you on a fishing trip with that question?

Had a decent game, service to him was appalling though - and WE HAVE BOUGHT A FUCKING LEFT WINGER, CAN WE NOT PLAY HIM ON THE TWATTING LEFT?

Not at all. I don't claim to know enough about Johnson to make a decision on if he is better than the players we already have so I was asking the opinion of others.

we need players like him who look absolutely up for it

normally bellers and tevez play like that - not today though

sad but no reason to cut ones knob off

id say that we have to expect days like this at fired up clubs

I am a great admirer of Adam Johnson and he will do well and did well today and will be a great signing no doubt.

Vieria looked good and managed to get booked to :) He is going to be a great signing to as he knows the english game inside out and knows his role well and is livel, Vocal and he will know what to do and will have a say in the dressing room no doubt!

But my problem is When bellamy is on the flank and playing in midfield supporting the strikers there is no width on the flank because he is not a midfield man. He is a winger that should be playing uptop and leaving the midifield positions to Vieria, Johnson, Barrry, De Jong, ireland etc

I see no reason that on tuesday we cant start with a 4-4-3 formation and have our strongest backline out that we can have available.
Then in midfield start with De jong and Johnson and one other player, Vieria, Ireland, Barry. Mancini's choice!
And then upfront we play with Bellamy, Tevez and Adebayor.

That would be one hell of an attacking side and also a strong side with a lot of stability in the team that would be capable of handling boltons pressure.

Johnson has potentially more quality delivering the ball as he showed. He often didn't produce it for Boro but he can do it. Showed no nerves either, looking good.

Was watcing Vieira closely & whilst he did ok, anyone who thinks he can run around the midfield winning tackles & starting attacks is blind. He's too old & slow. He can do a job with the right protection around him but will be totally exposed & humilliated unless he gets that protection. He's a more creative Didi Hamman now, not the Vieira we knew.

that's right. im not sure why others are rubbing his 14" wand. i for one wasn't overly impressed with him. It wasn't shocking, but it wasn't anything to proclaim him as a fantastic signing. hopefully, he can do a job when called upon.

cheers

Can't believe anyone is looking positives from that shower of shite.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree, our season has just gone down the tubes with that result. There is nothing positive to say.
