Well to be fair to them, its not like they shouldve cancelled Sterling's birthday just because the team lost a match.

Was it for his birthday? I stopped having birthday parties when I was 12 I think.

Same but I think my point stands. Its not the end of the world when they lose nor should it be. They shouldnt hide in their house in the dark and be depressed or spend every moment in the gym or on the training pitch.

I think this is where local fans and overseas fans disagree. No offense by the comment, I've just noticed that a lot of overseas fans aren't too fussed about this sort of thing but it annoys local fans.

I think someone should have put something in place so that players that are injured aren't filmed pissed out of their head though.

Edit: Again not a dig. Just an observation.

Valid point.

Im also not talking about the night before a match or something and I do think players should be very professional. Its their job and they have an obligation to the fans to show up and try their hardest. But theyre also humans and are entitled to a personal life

Yeah I agree mate.
It doesn't look great though, especially the timing. For me in my job if I was doing absolutely shit, making loads of mistakes, and then off sick - the last thing I'd be filmed doing is out absolutely steaming.

Where is this man and what the fuck is going on? He plays one game then is 'injured' straight away.
If he had any guts he would step up and get his act together.
People give out about mendy at least he is present for duty.
Stones is like a ghost appears now and again.
Never was a CB needed more badly than now and this lad is pissing his career down the drain.
Cheers John.

Wouldn't want to be in the Trenches with John that is for sure.

I have noticed when the going gets tough John gets going...........in to the physio Room.

In the Trenches he would likely deliberately put a Bullet through his own foot.

He has no future with us.

He was a rough Diamond when we bought him.

He has turned in to yet another over paid wasted talent, piss Head.Whose injuries always seem to coincide with when we need him.

He'd have been leathered and kicked out the club.

I tend to agree. But we must consider the fact that the players hold the real power now. And that power is increasing season by season, and with each record transfer fee after each record transfer fee, the players hold more power and status.
Just look at messi, tranny, neymar etc. The status these players have at their clubs. Managers are afraid of saying boo to them.

Not that bad under bacon's time, he had the power, but he would struggle now, like most managers do. With the present situation that is.

Player power is a real problem that will have to be dealt sooner or later, and probably worthy of a separate thread of it's own!!

Been watching Peaky Blinders. He is a lookalike for Cillian Murphy. Perhaps he has got himself involved in some dodgy deals

Where is Stones? Back training with the first team squad along with Merlin. That’s where. Laporte 10 days to 2 weeks from full training. Good news from Pep.
