The game was over before that.

Of all the commentators at their disposal, they choose Danny Murphy. A dipper who hates us and who also played for Fulham

this wont go down well with some on here but Foden isn't good enough. hes just another squad player everytime ive watched him. people keep saying hes not getting enough game time but hes simply not on a level where he can force his name into the top 11 for the big games

I understand where you're coming from to a degree. But he is 18. And hasnt yet had a continued run of games to build his fitness, awareness, strength, know how, rapport with team mates etc.

He is all right

I am more worried about Jesus, to be honest.
He doesn't look like he is evolving at all.

Heresy!!

I must admit very disappointing today. Everything he's done has been completely wrong and he seems to be working the same space where Silva always has the ball.

Why he doesn't get much league time may be laid out for us today.

The ref’s just managing the game and doesn’t want to hurt Fulham anymore than he has to. Just like when we were mullering a team a few week’s back and there was only 1 minute added time.

I’ve no issues with it in games like this, it’s when it’s a crucial game where the ref seems not to see anything the other team does, including handball’s and throwing players into the hoardings.

But the very least the officials should be is consistent. A decision should be made on its merits each time irrespective of the tie/game position/opponent

I agree he is "all right" but hes not a super star. at 18 many of the very best players looked liked they would be something to keep an eye on where he just doesn't have that feel about him for me. yes he will get better, stronger and fitter but I just cant see him being a "worldy" sadly.

I agree that i dont think he will be a world superstar. But i do think he will be better than just a squad player

Totally agree, mate. Just saying that inconsistencies are allowed when it comes to City.

I suppose it’s easy for a team to get lethargic in a situation like this

That Foden being played out of position and how difficult it is to come into this side and expect to be 100%.

For me, Foden is a good, technical player which is being managed into the first team. I’m probably one of the few who actually like the way we are managing him as I don’t want to see him hoping the way of Wilshire, Ox-C, et al.

Sterling's first touch, he goes out with the ball.

Excellent decision to send him in.

Why didn’t Jesus head it there from Sterling’s cross. His confidence is evaporating before our eyes
