There appears to be some on here who suffer from amnesia mate.
i.e it didn't happen.
As soon as he came in and said he’d rip that banner down from the Stratford End I knew he’d be a top guy
Let's put it into perspective, Mansour's investment got us here, not Bob or Pep, it was inveivtable we're going to win it. I'm not knocking Bob's achievement, fine, many fans can relate to him but let's not make out he's the messiah. It's my honest opinion so no need to spit the dummy out otherwise you're just another one dimensional city64

Haven't you always been anti-Pep though?

From a reasonable source...not your mate in the pub.

How the fuck can anyone be anti - Pep ?
Seriously have a word with yourself.
The man has delivered success beyond our wildest dreams.
Does not mean i have to like him as a person.
Always having sly digs at the fans at every opportunity.Always reminding us what a little Club with no history we are.
To Pep we are just lottery winners who could afford his services.
To Us City is our life and soul.

He heard it off a bin dipper in the bookies I reckon .
PeterParker wrote:Mase wrote:I don't like him as much as I loved Bob - but Pep is our most successful manager and hopefully he stays.
Same.
I was over the moon when he came, but now I understand why the Bayern fans were ”meh” when he left, even if he won the league without any troubles.
He brings succes no matter what, but life with him it's a bit toxic. I love Bob Manc as a person, because he knew what to say and called it as it was, while Guardiola is always indirect, even after we are crucified, he still is polite.
Loved when we were robbed and Bobby would come to the press conference.

Bin Dipper in the Bookies ?
Fucking hell is that the best you can do as a put down.
The only Bin Dippers that go in the Bookies Sunshine are to rob the fucking place.

I’ve said that I prefer Bob as a person, and Pep has been a more successful manager.
You’ve become offended by my opinion and I think you’ve sarcastically said all our success is down to Hughes because you don’t agree that I like Bob more as a person?
Again, it’s hard to know what you’re trying to say but if you summarise it I might be able to get my head around it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I'm not knocking Bob's achievement and what he's done for the club. I don't rate him as a manager but I do as a player. Let me rephrase that, as a 'manager' alone.
I don't think he's the answer, football has evolved and his style of play and tactics wouldn't fit with the clubs etho or should say modern day football. Mind you we could do with his defensive set ups right now.
I can see why people relate to him for the reasons many pointed it out in previous posts.
This is not about defending Pep, I'll gladly point out his flaws, I just don't think a manager in Bobbys mould is what we need or the answer, that's my honest opinion.

There are quite a few on here who hear voices!
Who said that?

Imagine you get your dick sucked every day, there is no better dick sucking that this one, still, instead of sucking, you hear constant moaning, but not the good moan, the "I told you so moan", the moan that always complains about something instead of continuing sucking it.
At some point, you have enough of that sucking, even if it is the best sucky-sucky you will ever get.
